Taylor Swift won four out of the ten awards she had been nominated for at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards last night.
The “Queen of Awards” arrived in a regal style, walking on red carpet at the 2015 VMA’s which was hosted at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, prior to receiving her awards. Nine famous friends accompanied her on arrival, including Martha Hunt and Selena Gomez. Many of the ladies who were with Taylor appeared in her Bad Blood video, which also featured Kendrick Lamar. Bad Blood received the award for Video of the Year.

Taylor also took the gongs for Best Female Video and Best Pop Video, both for Blank Space; Bad Blood also won the Best Collaboration award.
Taylor seized the opportunity to publicly end her reported “feud” with Nicki Minaj by hugging her during a short version of Bad Blood. She also debuted her new cinematic video for the song “Wildest Dreams”.
The 32nd edition of the VMA’s typically wasn’t short of surprises. Kanye West, who was introduced by Taylor Swift, announced that he will run for president in 2020! He also stated, “I will die for art, and for what I believe in and I ain’t always gonna be polite.” Kanye picked up the Video Vanguard Lifetime Achievement Award, cheered on by wife Kim Kardashian. He received a standing ovation.
Justin Bieber performed aeriel acrobatics to his hit “Where Are U Now” and new single “What Do You Mean.” He was so genuinely full of emotion he cried afterwards!
Host Miley Cyrus also surprised the audience with the announcement that her new album Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz was streaming online for free.
Other award winners include Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars for Best Male Video for Uptown Funk, and Nicki Minaj for Best Hip-Hop Video for Anaconda.
