Fresh from her success at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Taylor Swift has been nominated for a whopping eight Billboard Music Awards.

The nominees were announced earlier today, and Taylor is in the running for basically all of the major categories, including Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album for 1989 and Top Hot 100 Song for Shake It Off.

Nominated in a number of the same categories (except Top Female Artist, for obvious reasons) is Sam Smith, who has also done very well for himself this awards season.

The Brit is up for Top Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album and Top Hot 100 Song alongside Taylor. He’s also nominated for Top New Artist and Top Male Artist, among others – seven in total.

Iggy Azalea could have a big night come May 17 as well, with six nominations.

She’s up for Top Rap Artist, Top New Artist, Top Female Artist and Top Hot 100 Song, as well as Top Digital Songs Artist and Top Streaming Artist.

Others who could be walking away with multiple awards include Ed Sheeran, who has five nominations, and One Direction, which has four.

Up for Top Duo/Group, this could be the first big win for the band since the departure of Zayn Malik.

The Billboard Music Awards will be held on May 17 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
