Rob Kardashian was reportedly not feeling well over the weekend and was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday as his condition got worse. Once there he was told he was suffering from complications from diabetes — which he didn’t know he had.
The 28-year old has openly struggled with depression over the past couple years while staying out of the public eye as much as possible. He has also struggled with his weight, putting on 100 pounds in a couple of years.
A source close to the family confirmed this and mentioned how it affects the family.
“Rob is still struggling and it makes the family sad. He deals with depression, weight issues and low self-esteem, but that’s been going on for a long time.”
Rob has been living with his sister Khloe in recent years. Here’s what she said about him to People back in October:
“He’s such a great guy. That’s also what’s so infuriating. He’s charming, charismatic, everything. But I’m like, where is your will to live? Where is your will to live life? Let’s be around people!”
After Rob was treated for the diabetes he was released and sent back home to rest. A source spoke to E News and said the diagnosis was a real wake up call. According to the insider Rob’s blood sugar levels were extremely high and the doctors warned him that he would need to lose weight, eat better, work out more, and start taking better care of himself in general or else the condition could get worse.
