Miley Cyrus will be hosting the season premiere of Saturday Night Live as it launches into its next season this Saturday.

Miley was featured on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show on Thursday. She told Jimmy, after he complimented her yellow outfit, “You’re my fashion icon. If I was ever going to wear clothes, it’d probably be what you have on.”

Jimmy responded, “Because it’s rare when it happens.”

Miley discussed hosting SNL and talked about Leonardo DiCaprio sitting nearby with his mom, inhaling from a vapor pen, and how she wanted him to pass the pen to her.

“So that was weird to me,” Miley said, recalling the incident.

She said she was nervous because it was, “kind of an intimidating, weird room to be in. To cover a Paul Simon song with him in the building is pretty awkward.”

“I was the only chick, I was the one girl that wasn’t older,” Miley said.

“Besides Kanye, but I mean even Kanye’s kind of old, compared to me, but he’s about to be our future president, so I shouldn’t say too much.” She added, referencing Kanye’s recent declaration that he’ll be running for President in 2020.

At the SNL after party she sang her song, “Pablo the Blowfish.”

The 41st season of Saturday Night Live will be airing this Saturday, October 3 at 11:30pm on NBC.
