The Duchess of Cambridge has shed some light on when her second child is expected to arrive.
On a recent visit to a Woolwich children’s center, Catherine told a volunteer her baby was due “mid-April to the end of April.”
“Not long to go now,” she said.
The British Royal Family announced at the beginning of September that Catherine and Prince William were expecting their second child.
Catherine’s revelation gives us a better indication of when to start holding our collective breath in anticipation than we had before the birth of her first child, Prince George – in 2013 the world knew only that he would be born sometime in July.
International media were camped out in front of London’s St. Mary’s Hospital for weeks waiting for the first glimpse of little George, before he finally emerged the day after his birth on July 23.
Perhaps this narrower window of time will cut down on some of the mayhem surrounding the child’s birth – but we wouldn’t count on it!
