2. He Didn’t Just Burst Onto the Acting Scene
Though his stunning good looks and obvious talent might make it seem like he probably fell right into a successful acting career, that is far from the truth. Chris had many years of struggle before Hollywood came calling. In fact, he wasn’t even in Hollywood at all when he got his start. After attending theater classes in community college, working a long list of jobs that included stripping and door to door sales, he was at work in Hawaii waiting tables at the touristy Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. when Rae Dawn Chong hired him for a horror film.
It was only two years later that he was taken on for a recurring role in Everwood (as Bright Abbott) and after that it was a fast track to stardom.
