Seattle native Mary Lambert hit the big time after working with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis on “Same Love,” and her first mainstream album debuted at number 29 on the Billboard 200 charts. Brought up in a Christian home, she is empathetic towards others in the LGBT community who are going through the process of coming out or being able to self-identify as gay while in a household that condemns it.
